Collaborative Release Development

A focused collaboration for developing a song or release from early idea to finished direction.

A More Personal Way to Shape Your Release

I work with you to clarify the purpose, sound, and emotional center of your project. Together, we can refine the song, strengthen the creative direction, and make decisions that support the artist you want to present.

The process stays open and practical, with space for experimentation and honest feedback. Whether you need production input, songwriting perspective, or help connecting the release as a whole, I bring structure without taking away your voice.

Ideal For

  • Artists developing a new single

  • Songwriters with an early concept

  • Independent artists planning a release

  • Creators seeking a trusted creative partner

How It Works

  1. Share Your Vision: We discuss the song, goals, references, and creative direction.

  2. Develop The Work: I collaborate with you on the music, production, and release concept.

  3. Refine The Release: We review the direction and identify the next steps for completion.

Built for the new wave

I am Dashawn West, an independent artist and producer from New Jersey creating music with ambition, energy, and a distinct new-wave perspective. I make records for listeners who value authenticity, momentum, and a sound that refuses to stay in one lane. From writing and recording to producing, I bring a focused, self-driven approach to every release while building my own path in music.
